Mitra Energy Limited (Mitra) is the Operator of 4 offshore PSC s in Indonesia. Due to an expansion in activities, Mitra has a need to fill the following staff vacancies: EXPLORATION MANAGER (Reference - MEL11-01) The ideal candidate should hold an S1 level degree, or higher, in geology or geophysics and have a minimum of 20 years experience in the Indonesian oil and gas industry. A period of overseas working is desirable but not essential. The candidate should have some demonstrated experience, ranging from basic to a detailed working knowledge, in the following areas: seismic interpretation, seismic attribute analysis, log interpretation, resource & risk assessment, play fairway analysis, petroleum systems modelling, prospect generation, and POD preparation. The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English and be computer literate, with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, as well as a working knowledge of the more commonly used G&G programs. SENIOR GEOLOGIST (Reference - MEL11 - 02) The ideal candidate should hold an S1 level degree, or higher, in geology and have a minimum of 10 years experience in the Indonesian oil and gas industry. Some overseas experience would be beneficial but not essential. The candidate should have some demonstrated experience, ranging from basic to a detailed working knowledge, in the following areas: log interpretation, resource & risk assessment, play fairway analysis, petroleum systems modelling, prospect generation and POD preparation. FACILITIES ENGINEER (SENIOR & JUNIOR) Job Purpose: Investigate surface facilities equipment and prepare recommendation to enhance reliability. Implement surface equipment modification and commissioning; raise and update maintenance and operating procedures as well as supervise plant trials and recommend modifications. Qualifications & Experiences: • Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical. • Have at least 5 years experience in Operations and Maintenance of plant and equipment in the Oil & Gas or related industry. • Fresh graduates for Jr. Facilities Engineer position. OPERATION ENGINEER (SENIOR & JUNIOR) Job Purpose: Responsible for quality assurance of fluid analysis, improvement and optimization of process facilities. Develop new project/production facilities both onshore and offshore. Qualifications £ Experiences: • Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Gas and Petroleum. • Have at least 5 year experience in crude oil processing plant or oil & gas related engineering. • Fresh graduates for Jr. Operation Engineer position. General Qualifications: • Good command of English both oral and written with good report writing Skills. • Familiar with statutory regulations or referred international standards of Safety, Health and Environment.
